Amish
Gazebos
Our
Amish Gazebos are designed and handcrafted by Pennsylvania Amish craftsmen.
All of our gazebos are available in kit form, however
these gazebo
kits were specifically designed
and packaged with do-it-yourselfers in mind.
Along with clear
assembly instructions, each kit is
packaged with all the materials you'll need including stainless steel
screws. Assembly time is reduced because we have pre-assembled many of the
components for you. Also there's no cutting, so you won't have to deal
with all those compound miter cuts found in quality gazebos. Two people
can assemble one of these structures in less than a day.

QUALITY
CONSTRUCTION
Our gazebos are constructed with a choice of materials including No. 1 pressure
treated southern yellow pine
that has been kiln dried before and after treatment. Beautiful cedar and a
vinyl/composite are offered as alternatives to pine. Our craftsmen use stainless
steel fasteners in weather exposed areas and every board is planed and sanded
smooth prior to assembly. Floors are handcrafted with an elegant parquet-type
style and most models include a cedar-shingled cupola. Full length, #1 cedar
shakes applied over cedar lathe are standard on our roofs. However, we can
also complete your roof with shingles to match your residence or surrounding
structures. We even have a synthetic slate shingle that looks and lasts like
the real thing.
EXTERIOR
FINISHES:
Pressure
Treated Wood (PTW) Our best
selling pine Amish gazebos are built
with #1 pressure treated southern yellow pine. This material is very
strong and the pressure treatment process protects it for life. PTW will
weather to a light to medium gray if it is not stained or sealed. This
weathering does not affect its strength or durability, only its appearance.
It can be painted or stained with very nice results. PTW gazebos are
priced standard with a cedar shake roof and
full floor.
Cedar.
Knotty cedar has the beauty and durability of clear cedar,
but has tight knots
scattered along its surface. It is significantly lower in cost as well.
Cedar weathers to a light gray if not sealed. It is a fine grained
wood that accepts paint and stain beautifully. This wood has a natural
resistance to rot and termites, however, if not protected, it will
eventually rot when in contact with the ground. Our Amish cedar gazebo kits have
pressure treated pine framing under the floor to provide a long life.
So
don't put it off any longer - this is the project that will give great
satisfaction in building and in using. Build it on Saturday and have
a party in it on Sunday!
"Thank you so much for the
