 We built this
playhouse in April and our granddaughter and nieces have named it the
"Cottage of Dreams". The kit is just as advertised, complete and easy!
It took 3 people a week-end to assemble it including the shingles. We
had one question and your customer service department was
extraordinarily pleasant and called back within 5 minutes with the
answer. (The extra pieces of wood were packing pieces!) Our neighbors
are very pleased with it's aesthetics and we could not be happier
grandparents than by giving our grandchildren their place and their
memories. As you can see we finished the inside. Again, thank you for
the opportunity to be a special memory for our family and friends. We
have shared your website with several friends so orders may be coming in
from Colorado. |
I just wanted to let you know our railing
arrived today. We are having a family reunion next weekend and had
hoped to have the railing and pergola installed by then. We will at
least have deck railing and are very grateful for the fast service.
We were a little nervous about ordering over the phone without being
able to see the product. I'm thrilled to say the quality is excellent
and so is the service. Also the price was $2800 less than our local
supplier.
Keep up the good work, we will look forward to receiving the pergola.

Hi Andy, I just wanted to thank you for
helping me select my deck lights a couple of weeks back. I installed
them and they look great. I won't connect them to the transformer
until next spring, being that it's freezing here, but I look forward
to sitting out there in the evenings next summer and enjoying a cold

Dear Mr. Sears;
I called your company about 3 weeks ago to inquire about vinyl porch
railings. I spoke directly to you and explained that I was unable to get
specific lengths of railings in New Jersey where I live. The Home
Depot's carry only 72" lengths and I needed varying lengths from 71" up
to 78". You explained what products you had and how they were installed.
After some careful measuring and a little research on how to install
vinyl railings I called back and placed an order for the railings. I
received them on Friday, May 3rd. I installed them yesterday, Sunday May
5th with no trouble.
My intention in writing this letter is to tell you how pleased I am with
your product both in the ease of installation and in the quality of the
product not to mention how beautiful they look. I was very impressed
with the way the vertical posts fit into the rails with NO play and no
discernable spaces. I used a SAWSALL to cut the rails to the required
lengths. It worked just fine for me. The white headed screws are a nice
finishing touch and the little white caps that go over the rail locking
screws afford a beautiful professional finishing touch to the system.
While I was putting these railings up, it caused a stir in my
neighborhood as I installed them on a front porch. People stopped by to
ask where I got the product and to find out where I bought them and to
tell me how easy the installation looked. You might be hearing from
people in Wayne, NJ.
It's not often that a product is exactly what you expect.....but your is
and its been a pleasure buying from you and installing your product.

 Hi,
After placing an order less than 2 weeks ago, my awning came on Thursday
afternoon. By lunchtime Saturday the job was done. It was like hanging
curtains! I was impressed by the heavy extruded hood, having expected a
rolled sheet metal like my neighbor's. Attached are some before and

pictures of my finished project. It was finished in the fall of 2003.
We are very happy with it and would recommend your company to anyone.
It is a 12' vinyl gazebo, with cedar ceiling and roofing. I think you
thought I was crazy ordering cedar roofing with a vinyl gazebo, but it
turned out great. Hope to see it on your web site.

I bought this shed about 8
months ago. I could not be happier. I need to send you guys a photo - I
use it as my daughter's playhouse and it is perfect. It has low windows
and they are plastic so she can't break them. When I get a chance I will
email you a photo. I think that you should include this in your
playhouse section. It is not that much more money than the clubhouse and
it is the perfect size - fits her play kitchen, couch and chairs, table
and chairs, and baby changing station. It is nice that I can be
comfortable in it also. My daughter will never outgrow it.

Hi Andy, I got
the shipment and got it all assembled this labor day weekend. The only
problem was that my dog 'ate' the 2 rolls of sealing tape!! How can I
buy another 2 rolls? I only have the windows to put in and all looks
really good. Impressive the way it was pre-fabricated with no errors
whatsoever!!! I am totally satisfied with my Sunhouse. Please let me
know about the rolls of tape as soon as you can so I can finish...Thanks

 Hi Andy, just thought I'd
send a photo of my completed Sunhouse. Got it all wired inside and ready
to use it! I took my time since I was doing by myself - took about (4)
separate afternoons. Totally did it by myself, not bad for 60! Several
of my relatives around the country saw my photos and wanted your website
so I pointed them in that direction. Thanks again Andy.

Well, this past week, as you know, we were hit by
Hurricane Ivan. Although, it wasn't a direct hit in Ft Walton Beach, the
winds did reach a sustained speed of 90-100MPH for several hours with
some areas reporting gusts up to 140MPH. Attached is a picture of
what the winds did to my shed. On the side of the picture is the gazebo.
You'll be amazed, as I was, that it not only stood up to Hurricane Ivan
but didn't suffer any damage at all. In fact it was the only structure
in my yard that didn't have any damage. Thanks for a fine product.

in the future. Your company did a great job. You took my idea and
improved on it and came up with a terrific design. The construction
crew was first rate and fun to talk with. Bill Morse was helpful and
accommodating when we had details to work through. Plus it looks
really cool the way it ended up away from the house and elevated in
the trees. We have added some landscaping and it looks fantastic now
in the side yard. I'll take some pix and send them to you in case

I must tell you that
we spent about 3 hours yesterday putting it together. We still have
some to do, BUT it was idiot proof! My husband and I did it together
and we didn't argue one time!!! THAT says something about your product
AND the instructions. It was easier to assemble than one of those
pieces of furniture you buy at Wal-Mart and have to assemble!

Thanks again for the
great service and the beautiful Gazebo. I finished painting it this
week end and we celebrated with a small gather for the neighbors. I

 Install
is complete! Took me about 12 or so hours over 4 days. I did do a few
things different from the instructions that I found to work for me. I
installed the bottom rail first, added the spindles, then installed the
top rail. I took a pair of photos to show off. I hope it is OK to send
attachments. I tried to make them small. It is a 100% improvement over
the wood system that was there.
I am VERY pleased with the look, quality and ease of installation of the
vinyl rail system I purchased for Backyard America!

we unpacked our camera and here they are. We are very pleased
with the result. They really add to the appearance of our home.
